Two birds one stone?

When I was at tech I lived off "fund raising". It was a far cheaper
lunch having a couple of sausages than going to the cafe. So charge /
piece of meat? i.e. $2 for a sausage, $3 for a piece of chicken?
(assuming thigh or leg - and you have some fun with marinades).

And the second bird? Given that bbq's are horribly social things, it'd
be a good time to have a bit of a catch up with other members, sit
around and have a beer etc. Perhaps try selling homemade soft drinks
(ginger beer for example) as part of that fund raising effort.

I realise it probably wouldn't raise as much as Tangleball needs, but
it's a start.
