Time and Place
- Title: Tangle Ball Auckland Meeting
- When: Tuesday, 9th August, 7:00pm - 8:30pm and Saturday, 13th August, 2:00pm - 3:00pm
- Where: 27 Edinburgh Street, Newton
The first part is an administrative meeting, for about an hour
On Tuesdays at 8pm, we talk about/show projects we are working on, would like help with, or want to demo.
If you have not visited before, and would like to suggest a project, ask for help or tell Tangleball what you are doing, this is probably the best time to visit.

- Emily Harris will be talking about the gardening workshops urban pantry will be hosting at tangle ball from august 13th (tuesday only)
- Should we hold a second Tangle Ball meeting, later in the week, for those who cannot attend on Tuesdays?
- Possibly on saturdays, immediately after the urban pantry workshops (1pm)?
- Council funding, what is happening with it?
- Augur would like to host 'nzLARPS' who will be having a stitch 'n' bitch for most of the day on 14th august. could augur please explain what this entails? any objections?
- Cleo would like to know what Tangleball wants to do for First Thursdays as she is finalising the timetable.
- Meeting manners, we seem to be getting away from the usual way we held meetings. Rather than interrogating visitors, it might be good to introduce ourselves to new visitors... run names around the circle,
- try to keep to the agenda, and let each person be heard. Perhaps run discussion through the chairman.put a finger up to let them know you want to reply or add to the item under discussion.
- The web limp. Do we need to discuss what we want from a website, perhaps define a set of priorities. The small turn out at the web limp suggests we should address this.
- A visual representation of current member numbers. eg a graph, up on the wall.

- Should there be a second weekly Tangleball meeting for those who can't make it on Tuesday evening? Rob & Calvin volunteered to open up on Saturday between 2 & 3pm for a meeting.
- Council funding? Wayne & Calvin volunteered to investigate.
- Cleo from first Thursdays is asking for Tangleball ideas.
- There was a discussion on meeting manners. Could the Tangleballers be a bit more polite and inclusive of newcomers? Answer = yes.
- The 14th LARP meeting is coming up.
- Apparently the weekend web limp wasn't particularly well attended. Perhaps this is because it's seen as a project belonging to a couple of members but the rest of the group haven't been involved with the planning. There was some whiteboard activity listing the things that people wanted from the website.
